Worship Update for July 2, 2020

July 2, 2020

Dear Friends of Christ,

I hope all of you are doing well.  Just when we think things are getting better, everything changes again.

With that said, you may have heard that the Governor made some changes about people gathering in public.  After looking at the new guidelines, we will still continue to offer in-person worship and continue to live stream all three services at 8, 9:30 and 11 am.  We have been so blessed with elders who have worked hard to make sure we keep our social distancing and have a clean and safe environment.  The church is disinfected after each worship service.  If you choose to stay home, you can connect with us on YouTube by searching Christ Lutheran Church Yuma.  If you haven’t already subscribed to our channel, please press the subscribe button on the page.  You will be alerted when new live streams and videos are available.

We will continue to wear masks in worship.  If you don’t have one, we do have some masks and face shields for your use.  We also have two new hand sanitizer stands in the entry way of the church.

Thank you for your generosity to the Lord through your offerings.  Offerings can be given online through our website – Christyuma.org, through our church app, by mailing it, or dropping it off in the office during the week.  Your generous hearts continues to enable us to reach more and more people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

If you are someone who has a weak immune system or are prone to catching viruses (therefore you are at risk of catching the corona virus), please don’t feel guilty staying home.  We will continue to pray for you and look forward to the day we can all gather together again.

I miss you and thank you for your partnership in the Gospel.

God’s blessings,

Pastor Harman
